TRAINING

See the Training Calendar for schedules and individual program pages for descriptions of all training courses. Fee waivers and other financial aid are described on the Registration Form.

Our Computer Training Program has evolved into a multi-course offering that benefits three distinct groups:

  • Small Businesses and their employees
  • Persons wanting to develop or enhance job skills
  • Beginners and persons wanting to get more use out of their home computer

Business Planning Training has several options. For pre-development or startup businesses (less than 5 years), we recommend our NxLeveL course for Startups, a 10 week program offered throughout the region at various days and times. Once a year we offer a longer 12 week program for existing Entrepreneurs. We also offer Business Planning Modules which are 3 week mini-courses on Marketing, Organization, Finance and Explorer.

Small Business Development Courses

In addition to one-on-one technical assistance; business planning courses, computer training, and seminars, several Marketing & Financial workshops are featured on topics such as: Developing a Marketing Plan, Creating Your Own Marketing Materials, Bookkeeping Basics and Managing Cash Flow. These seminars are open to existing small businesses and soon-to-be entrepreneurs.

Group and one-on-one programs are available by arrangement. Please call Skochii at the QVCDC for details.
